uOttawa IT Engineering Virtual Employment Event (Fall 2020)

Date: September 28, 2020 to October 9, 2020 
Time: 9:00 am to 2:30 pm (two one-hour time slots)

Join leading regional, national and international employers in recruiting outstanding engineering students, as we go virtual for the first time!

The format of our events is new this year, and is subject to change as we adapt to this new reality, with the tools available to us. 

The Traditional Engineering Employment Event will span over two weeks (from September 28 to October 9, 2020), and will target the following programs: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Each employer will have two one-hour slots on Monday & Wednesday, OR Tuesday & Thursday, between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm. During their scheduled slot, the employer will have 10-20 minutes to present, and then 40-50 minutes to network with students, answer questions, or pop-out for a one-on-one chat with interested candidates; this is where students may directly send you their CV, or schedule additional one-on-one time. 

This is the ideal recruitment event for employers interested in hiring soon-to-graduate engineering students or looking to connect with current students to promote CO-OP, summer, and part-time employment opportunities. Promote your organization, present your products and services, and inform interested candidates about your application, selection and interview processes.
