Sessions at the 39th Annual North American Labor History Conference (NALHC) focus on how labor and working-class history is remembered by and interpreted for public audiences around the world. This year’s conference has been designated a National Council on Public History Mini-Con, and the program includes a wide range of presenters at all career stages from universities, unions, museums, and archives.

NALHC is collaborating with Network Detroit, a regional digital humanities initiative based at Wayne State University, to offer digital humanities workshops at this year's conference. Network Detroit's 2017 meeting will take place on Saturday, October 21st, to coincide with the final day of NALHC. When you select your registration type below, you have the option to register for Network Detroit at no additional cost (and with Saturday lunch included).

2017 NALHC registration fees (includes Thursday evening reception and Thursday and Friday luncheons):

  • Full-time workers: $110 before Oct. 1; $125 after Oct. 1
  • Students, retirees, and contingently employed workers: $70 before Oct. 1; $85 after Oct.1
