AAC Camp

Each registration for a PWUAAC will include an additional no-cost registration for a carer / personal support worker. Additional tickets for siblings of PWUAAC are available for purchase.

AAC Camp attendees who are under the age of 18 must at all times have adult supervision. In order to provide parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) the opportunity to attend pre-conference workshops, ISAAC will be making available camp staff supervision at a 1:8 ratio for the entirety of the AAC Camp experience. Camp activities will require the provision of a signed waiver(s) by the participant (18 and older) / parent(s) or legal guardian(s) (under 18) as a precondition for participation, which will include acceptance of this staffing ratio and acknowledgment of its sufficiency for each AAC Camp attendee under the age of 18. ISAAC may require parents(s) and /or legal guardian(s) to provide additional adult support should, in its sole discretion, ISAAC deems such additional support necessary for the successful running of the AAC Camp. Parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) who decline to accept the provided staffing ratio will be required to attend with their child at all times during the AAC Camp.

If you are going to be an AAC camper, only one ticket needs to be purchased (Your carer / personal suppport worker is automatically enrolled. If any others will be attending the camp with you, you must purchase separate tickets for them here.

Ticketed Items

Each registration for a PWUAAC will include an additional no-cost registration only for a carer / personal support worker (pre-conference, main conference, Welcome Reception, and Presidents' Reception), not including food and beverage if included as part of PWUAAC registration. Purchases of additional food and beverage tickets for all carer(s)/ personal support worker(s) of PWUAAC, or anyone else, will be required and can be selected below.

Social Event pricing includes admission for up to one (1) carer / attendant, as required, and does not require the purchase of a separate ticket for that carer / attendant.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy
For any registration purchased prior to March 1st, 2022, the final date for cancelling a conference registration with a full refund has passed. For conference registrations purchased after that date, and until February 28th, 2023, cancellation requests for a full refund will be honoured if received by email to ISAAC International ([email protected]) prior to 5:00 pm (ET) on March 31st, 2023.

For any registration purchased on or after March 1st, 2022, conference registrations that are subsequently cancelled will be refunded, subject to a CAD $100 (plus HST) cancellation administration charge, as long as cancellation occurs no later than 5:00 pm (ET) on March 31st, 2023. There will be no refunds for cancellations occurring after that date and time.

Conference attendees are encouraged to ensure that they have trip interruption and/or cancellation insurance in place prior to registering, which may be available or already in place with your existing credit card. Please check directly with your credit card company and/or bank.
