SBIR Intro & NSF Funding Programs Overview

This session is targeted towards Virginia's HBCU and minority owned technology firms, however, all are invited to register and attend!

This one hour session presents an overview of the SBIR/STTR programs at the 11 participating federal agencies, providing details on the programs purpose, participating agencies, funding available, and how the agencies vary in their missions. We will then hear from special guest Elizabeth Mirowski, PH.D, SBIR/STTR Program Director at the National Science Foundation. Ela will discuss some tips to participating in the NSF's SBIR and STTR programs, as well as provide details on several other funding programs that may be of interest to both university researchers and small tech firms.
