The mission of the Mid-America College Health Association (MACHA) is to provide networking, educational opportunities, support and advocacy for a diverse group of professionals who provide health care and promote disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices for college and university populations. In doing so, the MACHA members are integral to the academic mission of their institutions and play a vital role in the well-being of society.

By holding our Annual Meeting at Wayne State University, we further the mission of MACHA and advance the field of college health. We hope to have a successful conference by aiming to: 1) Provide opportunities for professional development, 2) Share effective programs, posters, services, and innovations in college health, and 3) Provide networking opportunities.

This year you have the option to enroll in Mental Health First Aid training, taking place Friday afternoon, to make your conference a full 2 days.  This training gives you the skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem. For MACHA attendees, we are providing this training, along with a 3-year certification, for only the cost of a participant manual ($25).

Please join us for an engaging 1.5-2 day conference in beautiful Detroit, MI at Wayne State University. For more information, please visit our website:
