Program Outline:

Accessing Grants…the Easy Way

To educate business owners and/or business community influencers (Accountants, Business Consultants/Advisors, CFOs, Bankers, Business Coaches, etc.) on how to quickly identify, assess, and successfully apply for grants for their business. Develop value-added knowledge that helps differentiate you from your competitors and gives you a professional competitive advantage.
There are more than $26 Billion grants issued by the Canadian government every year. The sad reality is that no one teaches you how to access the ‘pot of gold’. It is important that for-profit businesses learn about what programs are available and be corrected on misconceptions about government grants. This workshop outlines best practices when preparing for upcoming funding programs and how to develop an effective grant strategy for a business. It also includes in-class activities where we review a grant together to give you the practical experience of researching, identifying, and assessing the right programs for a business. Case studies of how other general businesses have leveraged grants for growth.
Topics Covered:
• Types of Grants Available to Businesses
• Top 10 Mistakes
• Research and Assess a Grant
• Case Studies
• FAQs
