AAC Website Tour
February 23, 2023 | 4:00pm - 5:00pm MT (1 hour)
This guided tour will demonstrate all of the great authentic assessments and self-directed PD resources available to all AAC members. This session is suitable for any teachers from our members jurisdictions that are unfamiliar with AAC’s treasure-trove of resources.

This session will explore the TQS Competency and Indicator related to assessment. Spend the hour exploring what competent teachers are expected to know, understand, and do, in terms of classroom assessment.

- how to plan learning and assessment with the end in mind,
- the formative assessment cycle, and,
- the summative assessment principles.

In this session, participants will learn:

what assessment blueprinting is,
how to ensure you are assessing what matters, and
how to blueprint an assessment.

Audience:
New K-12 teachers or teachers looking to build a solid assessment foundation.

Location:
You will participate virtually via Google Meet. The link will be shared a day ahead of each session.

Asynchronous Learning:
Recordings and materials are posted to a Google Classroom once each session is completed. Registered participants will gain 2-week access which starts once the recording, presentation slides, and other session materials are posted.

The class code and instructions to access materials will be emailed to registered participants.

NOTE:
AAC is a non-profit charitable society and as such our sessions are dependent on registration numbers. Please share this learning opportunity within your network.

If a session needs to be cancelled due to low registration, you will be notified 4 business working days in advance.

Payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or purchase order is required at time of registration.
No refunds will be provided.

If a participant is unable to attend, you have the option to transfer the registration to another person by contacting Jennifer MacIsaac, email [email protected].

Should a session be cancelled, AAC will offer a credit for the registration fee to either:

register for a different AAC open session, or
make a purchase in the AAC book store, or
a refund may be available upon request.
