Speaker Biography:

Kevin DeForge is currently a Supervisor in Learning Services for the Calgary Catholic School District. His Masters is in Education Technology and he focuses on providing student voice and choice in learning, with an emphasis on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to ensure effective assessment practices.

AAC is a non-profit charitable society and as such our sessions are dependent on registration numbers. A session may be cancelled due to low registration - this would be confirmed 4 business working days prior to the session date.

Asynchronous Learning: Registered participants will gain 2-week access to the recording, presentation slides, and other session materials. The recording and materials are posted to a Google Classroom once each session is completed. The link to access materials will be emailed to registered participants.

Payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or purchase order is required at time of registration.
No refunds will be provided.

If a participant is unable to attend a session, they will not be given access to the materials or a refund.

Should a session be canceled, AAC will offer a credit for the registration fee to either:

register for a different AAC open session, or
make a purchase in the AAC book store, or
a refund may be available upon request.
