GGC is committed to ensuring that our culture, programs, and practices are accessible and inclusive of Canada’s diverse and marginalized communities. Our DEI training is designed to support our members, staff, and volunteers in fostering a welcoming and inclusive space at every level of our organization. GGC’s DEI training consists of four modules that will help you gain knowledge and skills that will enable you to contribute to the principles and commitments of a girl-driven and inclusive GGC.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) modules build upon one another, and each is a pre-requisite for the next module. They must be taken in this order:
- DEI Module 1: Introduction to Diversity and Inclusion
- DEI Module 2: Identity and Bias Awareness
- DEI Module 3: Safe and Inclusive Spaces
- DEI Module 4: Inclusive Meetings
You will be asked to download the DEI Training Primer and complete it before your DEI Trainings.
