2019 Community Event: Releaf Tree Planting Event October 26, 2019 - Free Event - Registration

Come join us and help grow Surrey’s urban forest! We will be planting trees and shrubs to help improve wildlife habitat.

This event is organized by City of Surrey.

Everyone is welcome to participate, all ages, and no experience is required. We need 20 volunteers, this includes CPA members and/or students and their families. Parent participation required for children ages 13 and under.

Please wear sturdy footwear, layered clothing, and sun or rain protection. Dress weather-accordingly, comfortably, and be prepared to get dirty. Bottle water,  garden gloves, tools and instructions will be provided.

For just two hours of your time, you can help make Surrey a healthier and more beautiful place.

Toiletries collection for Night Shift Ministry 

CPABC SLND Chapter is collecting travel size toiletries to be donated to the Night Shift Ministry for distribution during the holidays. If you travel and don’t use the hotel provided toiletries, we encourage you to collect them and bring them to our next event.

Here are some examples of items that can be donated: toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, travel size tissues, gloves, socks, toques, etc.. 

These toiletries will be collected from now until December and will be donated to Night Shift Ministry in January. Please bring them along to your next chapter event and put them in the box at the registration table. If you have any question, please feel free to email the chapter.
